curated by massimo casagrande (dean of istituto marangoni miami), the 'ultramarine' exhibition was held in miami between july - august 2021. it featured a collection of original artworks of fida members and selected artists from around the globe.
‘Land Meets Sea’
Inspired by the colour pigment ‘ultramarine’, this is a story about harmony and contrasts between human interactions and nature.
Coming from the icy white waves, a mermaid-like figure rises from the sea and greets her new companion from the highlands.
