2023 marks the 10th Year Anniversary of the Draw A Dot illustration community by founder Marcus Kan. To celebrate, illustrators from the Patreon group were invited to each contribute an artwork based on the Orange Dot logo. These illustrations are reflection of the style diversity and what celebration and joy mean to the artists.
An interesting aspect of the project is that this is also a fun year long contest, whereby $5 USD from each sale of the prints will go towards a fund and at the end of January 2024, the artist that sells the most prints from this collection will receive the fund to grow their business or open their own online store!

This is my print for the Orange Dot Project. The title of my piece is ‘CHEERS!’ and it is about living life to the fullest by cherishing every moment. The girls are enjoying themselves with a drink on a day/night out in a fantasy world.
But there are several meanings hidden in this piece.
The bubble represents the fantasy, where we are free with our imagination - a safe place where you can be yourself without being judged. The doves are the symbol of peace and that is the positive note that I want to send to everyone. The girls are a representation of friendship - we are different, but we are stronger together and we can lean on each other, supporting each other just like the Draw A Dot community.
I truly hope that anyone looking at this print will feel happy and peaceful.
